Things lately have been pretty good, I've just started work at Tassal within IT. Having a change and starting a new job is nearly always good, Tassal has been no exception. Although working full time has been killing me, this job is pretty fun and has so far involved a fair bit of driving about which is fun and nothing to very repetitive which is good aswell.
Highlights so far have included:
∙ My boss letting me drive the brand new company 4WD on the first day.
∙ Wearing gumboots around the factory is rad.
∙ Taking a trip up to Maydena to see people giving birth to baby salmon.
∙ A platypus having fun in a pool packed with fully grown salmon.
∙ The barge just offshore of Brunie Island & the gnarliness of the barge office. What a killer place to work, it was picture perfect, hopefully all the computers there shit themselves on the regular, so I get to visit plenty.
Lowlights so far have included:
∙ Seeing thousands of fish every day being gutted and sodimised.
∙ Working 8.00am - 8.30pm on Tuesday.
∙ Not getting paid till next Tuesday.
